Cozy & spacious vacation rental apartment located in the heart of Old Annecy with 4th floor views of the Canal du Vassé, Pont des Amours (Lover's bridge), the Mairié (town hall), Le Pâquier d'Annecy, and the mountains. Across the street from Lake Annecy, a 10 minute walk to the train station, and centered between many fabulous restaurants, shops and the old town.
Our apartment has 2 bedrooms, one shower room, and a private toilet room. There is a queen bed in one room, a full bed in the 2nd room and a comfortable full sized sofa bed with memory foam mattress in the living room. The 2nd bedroom provides access to a small balcony in the courtyard.
The building was constructed in 1938, and our apartment has the beautiful original herringbone wood flooring with all of its character and the classic styles of that era that you will notice in the crown molding, over-sized base boards, and original wood framed windows and hardware.
The kitchen/dining area is well equipped with a full sized oven/stove, dishwasher, both a full size & a small refrigerator, and a microwave. We also provide a blender, toaster, raclette, fondue, Nespresso Machine & a full compliment of utensils for cooking and dining in.
There is also a large smart TV in the family room and Free WiFi. The entrance to the apartment doubles as a workspace with a desk, monitor/smart TV, and keyboard and provides privacy for those needing to work or study.
Double doors open to a small balcony overlooking the Canal du Vassé and the Mairié (perfect viewing when the Mairié is lit up during the Holidays) while also providing a great view of the mountains.
The apartment can be accessed via the stairs or a small elevator from the ground entrance, has excellent water pressure and hot water, and was recently completely refurnished throughout each room.
